The Jewish Link of New Jersey and Gotham Burger would like to recognize twelve year old Yonina Felsen as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. Yonina was the girls MVP at CMEK Camp in Paramus earlier this summer. She has been training for the last three years in the CMEK program and has steadily improved every facet of her game. She worked diligently to perfect various dribble moves including the take-away dribble. As a sixth grader, she was the starting point guard for Yavneh Academy and led her team to the School League championship game.
Chad Mekles of CMEK told The JLNJ, “She also fine-tuned her different finishes around the basket using her show and go and Euro-step.”
