Rabbi Jake Berman’s senior Gemara shiur recently embarked on an inspiring learning journey with a “retzifus seder.” This unique session involved the talmidim engaging in 40 minutes of uninterrupted Gemara chavrusa, followed by Mincha, and then another focused 40-minute chavrusa session. The boys didn’t go hungry during their learning as they enjoyed an amazing spread of Dougie’s poppers, pretzel chicken, brisket egg rolls and fries!
Meanwhile, Rabbi Shua Katz’s elyon shiur enjoyed its final retzifus seder of the semester as the talmidim learned b’chavrusa for two hours in preparation for their upcoming bechina. The boys loved the extra learning after school, enjoying a Chickies dinner before heading to cheer on their friends at the JV basketball game.
