Lubavitch on the Palisades to Hold Selichot Fabrengen

In preparation for the High Holidays, join Lubavitch on the Palisades for a special pre-selichot farbrengen (chassidic gathering). Selichot are communal prayers said during the High Holiday season and Jewish fast days, asking God for divine forgiveness. Guest speaker Rabbi Aharon Dovid Gancz will be lecturing on «The Essence of Teshuva (Repentence): Is It Changing Your Ways or Changing Yourself?

The program will be held on Saturday, September 24, from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m., followed by a midnight selichot prayer service. Light dinner will be served.
