Rabbi Hanoch Teller to Speak at Congregation Ohav Emeth in HP, February 2-3

Rabbi Hanoch Teller

Congregation Ohav Emeth in Highland Park invites community members to join them for a scholar in residence weekend with renowned storyteller and author Rabbi Hanoch Teller, on Shabbos February 2-3.

Rabbi Teller will speak at the 7:50 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. minyanim and before Mincha at 4:30 p.m. on Shabbos day. He will air a movie after Shabbos at 8:00 p.m.

Internationally-acclaimed as one of the most original and inspiring motivational-speakers of our time, storyteller-extraordinaire, Rabbi Hanoch Teller, has been dubbed a“globe-trotting modern-day maggid.” He has enthralled audiences on five continents, in over 40 American states and 24 other countries, delivering a precious message imbued with joy and drama, laughter and pathos. He is the critically-acclaimed, prize-winning author of 28 titles, several of them ongoing best sellers published in multiple languages.

His electrifying presentations on a vast range of topics—sometimes hilarious, always stirring, meaningful and pragmatic—are underwritten by prodigious scholarship and more than three decades as a hands-on, beloved educator. US Senator Arlen Specter proclaimed him “probably the most sophisticated storyteller of our time.”

This scholar in residence is sponsored by the family of Rabbi Dr. Herbert W. Bomzer, in honor of his yahrzeit, and for the yahrzeit of Chaim Alter.
