(Courtesy of Jewish Home Family) Jewish Home Family, in collaboration with Fair Lawn for All Ages, is excited to announce a health and wellness workshop titled “Eating Well for Health and Wellness.” This enriching event is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 8 at the Fair Lawn Senior Center, 11-05 Gardiner Rd., Fair Lawn.

The workshop will begin at 1 p.m. with free health screenings followed by a practical demonstration at 1:45 p.m. It aims to educate participants on the importance of a balanced diet and its impact on overall health and wellness, particularly for the older adult community.

This event is part of Project LEAD by Jewish Home Family, an initiative dedicated to providing essential health and wellness workshops to underserved older adults living at home. Attendees will gain valuable insights into nutritional needs and how to incorporate healthier eating habits into their daily lives.

The event will be especially beneficial for seniors seeking to enhance their dietary practices. Open to the public, the community is invited to attend the afternoon of learning and empowerment as participants explore the pillars of a healthy diet and its role in maintaining a vibrant and active lifestyle.
