(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) Rabbi Avremy Kanelsky, director of the Jewish Information Stand at Newark Airport, regularly meets up with El Al staff after they conclude a flight. They celebrate together and discuss dates of significance on the Jewish calendar.

On Tu B’Shevat, Rabbi Kanelsky brought lunch and the shivas haminim to the airport staff and shared insights of Tu B’Shevat from the Lubavitcher Rebbe. He related its meaning and the impact it has on day-to-day life.

Bris Avrohom’s information stand in Terminal B is available at all times to guide those with their religious needs. There are minyanim established daily in all the terminals and tefillin is available for the men to don and make the blessing over while Shabbat candle kits are distributed to the women and girls, thereby increasing merits for the safety of all our brothers Israel.
