It was a weekend of achdut, spirit and relationship building for students and faculty of the JEC’s Rav Teitz Mesivta Academy, which held it’s opening Shabbaton at the scenic Camp Dora Golding this past Shabbat.
Students enjoyed the many sporting options and camp amenities on Friday and were uplifted by a Shabbat full of Torah, song, spiritual connection and friendship.
The Shabbaton was capped off by the RTMA’s traditional musical havdalah ceremony lead by the JEC’s Director of Guidance Dr. Akiva Perlman, a former member of Miami Boys Choir, and was accompanied on the guitar by RTMA Principal Rabbi Ami Neuman, who is also known for his musical acumen.
