RKYHS Head of School Offers Yeshivat Noam Students High School Tips

The transition to high school is an exciting milestone in the lives of students but it can at times grow into a source of anxiety. Rabbi Eliezer E. Rubin, Head of School and Klatt Family Rosh HaYeshiva of the Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy and the Rae Kushner Hebrew Academy was invited by Yeshivat Noam principal Rabbi Hagler to help demystify the high school admissions process for their students. Rabbi Rubin met with Yeshivat Noam 8th graders to help them prepare for the high school interviewing process and their experience during this next step in their lives. Rabbi Rubin commented that “the students were engaged in all aspects of the presentation and were eager to learn how to present and comport themselves, what to avoid and how best to respond to questions when interviewing for high school.” Students also participated in a number of mock interviews and gained a better understanding of the high school process.
