Moriah Nursery students celebrated Rosh Hashanah by learning about the artist Kandinsky (1866-1944). Kandinsky was born in Russia and loved color and music. He said, “starts from a dot.” The students read the book, “The Dot” by Peter Reynolds. Everyone loved his painting Concentric Circles, so the children painted it too. They painted circles like Kandinsky to celebrate Rosh Hashanah and the round world.
