Financial planning expert Bruce Maier of AXA Advisors hosted five special needs children with their families at a New York Knicks outing at Madison Square Garden. To help make the event a success, Maier worked with nonprofits Friendship Circle in Paramus, MarbleJam Kids in Tenafly, and Yachad in Teaneck. Said Maier, “Knowing that a live sporting event in a large arena can often be overwhelming for children with special needs, I wanted to do something to make this happen. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.”
