At WTA, students and faculty are all gearing up for a fun and meaningful Chag Purim. With lessons and projects about the minhagim and halachot of the holiday, as well as exciting celebration days peppered throughout the weeks of Adar I and II, nobody can forget about the avira hachagigit, holiday atmosphere! Some favorites have been Dress Like a Teacher Day, and Jersey Day. The excitement was palpable each morning as students ran into the building, proud and excited to share their favorite sporty clothes and their most creative teacher outfits. Rosh Chodesh Adar II started with Hallel b’tzibbur in the lobby which had been decorated overnight with banners and streamers—many handmade by the middle school students—and it drove home that Purim is only two weeks away!
