Making an annual trip to RYNJ to Chana Greenberg’s fifth grade class is an annual pre-Purim tradition. Jewish Link Editor and Associate Publisher Elizabeth Kratz participates in the class’s project-based learning assignment of creating a newspaper as written in the time of Purim. The students are encouraged to become reporters, journalists, advice columnists, recipe writers, cartoonists and more as they create their own newspaper, written as though the Purim story were happening right now. One lucky article will be chosen to appear in The Jewish Link’s annual Purim Spiel section, which comes out March 22.
