At the heart of Naaleh’s narrative are individuals whose tireless efforts have woven the fabric of the school’s identity. Mindy and Jonathan Neiss, the esteemed guests of honor, epitomize this ethos. From the inception of Naaleh, their unwavering commitment has been the cornerstone of Naaleh’s foundation. Their home served as the birthplace of Naaleh’s mission, where ideas were nurtured, dreams were forged and no challenge was too daunting. Jonathan’s experience as the portfolio manager and founder of J.H. Lane Partners provides essential financial guidance, ensuring Naaleh’s stability and growth. Mindy, a cherished math teacher at RYNJ, has infused Naaleh with her passion and commitment, leaving an indelible mark on the school’s spirit.
In honoring Barry and Joy Sklar with the prestigious Kesser Shem Tov Award, Naaleh will pay homage to their profound commitment to chesed and community. Their selfless endeavors, from the Ohel Chanukah toy drive to their involvement with Yad Leah, have illuminated the path of kindness for all. Joy’s embodiment of chesed and Barry’s expertise as a managing director at Goldman Sachs have enriched Naaleh and its wider community, exemplifying the transformative power of compassion.
The journey of Naaleh is woven with the threads of communal spirit embodied by Josh and Beth Schwartz, esteemed recipients of the Parents of the Year Award.
