By the time readers see this, the national election will already be over, but leading up to this momentous vote, students at the JEC were fully immersed in the electoral process. From live debates and visiting politicians in the high school divisions, RTMA and Bruriah, to actual voting booths and polling in the younger Lower School grades, students throughout the Jewish Educational Center learned about the tremendous power of the democratic system and developed a strong appreciation for the privilege to live in a country where our rights and opinions as individuals may be exercised.
