In the JEC’s RTMA division, guidance isn’t limited to the classroom or a psychologist’s office. Dr. Akiva Perlman, the beloved director of guidance for the entire Jewish Educational Center’s three divisions, took to the field and court last week in a friendly game of football to share lessons of leadership and team building.

The RTMA isn’t the only JEC division to benefit from having a doctor of psychology on staff and indeed both the Lower School and Bruriah High School boast doctors on full time staff as well as in a guidance services team led by Dr. Perlman.
