Cheder Yaldei Menachem was abuzz with Purim activity this week. It began with a V’nahafoch Hu Topsy Turvy Day, taking an example from the Purim story plot which was turned upside down. Children came to school outfitted in hilarious attire and went on to enjoy a Purim carnival activities with games and fun. They got their faces painted, searched for tzedaka coins in the Purim sensory bins, made delicious hamantashen, designed masks, enjoyed edible smiley faces and much more. The best part was dressing up like Mordechai and riding the king’s horse through town!
