Following middle school’s Sharsheret Pink Day earlier this month to raise cancer awareness, sixth grade students from Ms. Goldstein’s art class delivered care packages to patients at White Plains Hospital Center. They had the opportunity to meet and speak with the hospital staff and to learn first-hand how the donations of cards and comfort items would benefit individuals and bring them hope. This was truly a collaborative effort, which wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing parent volunteers.
