After a week of Adar fun and excitement, Naaleh hosted a thought-provoking yom iyun dedicated to the essence of tefillah, in order to better get the students in the mindset of the holier elements of Purim. Rabbi Glasser of Young Israel of Passaic-Clifton came to speak about believing in your power to truly beseech Hashem with prayer, just as Mordechai and Esther did. He also spoke about how being united in simcha on Purim can be what will bring the geula and yeshua that everyone is davening for. The event unfolded with insightful panels led by seniors and faculty, where they discussed personal tefillah experiences, moments of profound connection, and strategies for maintaining spiritual focus on tefillah even during the busyness of the Purim holiday. The students left with a deeper understanding of tefillah and a spiritual mindset to maintain alongside the festivities this Purim.
