Hey guys! It’s Gavriella. I thought you might enjoy this little “behind the scenes” on how to make a word search. Enjoy!

First I start by coming up with what words to use based on the holiday.

Then I make the boxes. I like to use lined paper so there are already straight lines and you only have to make lines going across.

Next I write the words down. You can put them any way you want! After that, I highlight the words so the editor knows where the words are.

Lastly, I put in random letters. I also like to add the beginning or ends to some of the word search words to make it more tricky. Then I send it to The Jewish Link and their wonderful editors make it all pretty and nice.
