The Tenafly Chabad Academy seventh and eighth grade STEM classes participated in an exhilarating Alka-Seltzer rocket challenge. With a thirst for discovery, students embarked on the exploration of rocketry principles. Armed with ingenuity and scientific know-how, they designed and constructed their own Alka-Seltzer rockets, carefully considering factors such as aerodynamics and propulsion. As the moment of launch approached, anticipation soared, as their creations soared into the sky, propelled by the chemical reaction of Alka-Seltzer and water. This hands-on experience not only ignited their passion for STEM but also fostered teamwork, critical thinking and a profound sense of achievement.
