This past Sunday, RYNJ hosted a book fair at Barnes and Noble in Hackensack to raise money for the RYNJ library and media center. While parents shopped for some great books, the children were treated to a whole array of activities, which were led by RYNJ teachers, parents and graduates. The whole community was invited to partake in the fun. There was something for everyone, ranging from toddlers to teens. There were sing-alongs and storytime, the RYNJ Boys Choir performed, and crafts including lanyard and bookmark making, origami and face-painting. The event raised necessary funds, while at the same time spread cheer and school spirit. It is always a special treat when students and their families see their teachers and administrators outside of the school building in a fun environment. Special thanks to all of the wonderful volunteers who helped make a really fun day for the RYNJ students.
