Special RYNJ Chesed Project Brings Chanukah to Patients

In honor of her upcoming birthday, Gavriella Sandler, a student in RYNJ’s second grade, initiated a beautiful project in which all of the RYNJ second grade classes were honored to participate. Each child wrote a sweet, cheerful Chanukah letter and decorated the letter to look like a candle. The students then attached a heart-shaped lollipop to the note before rolling the note into a candle shape. Gavriella and her mother will deliver these letters to Chesed 24/7, which will take care of distributing them to people who will be in the hospital over Chanukah. The RYNJ students hope that their letters will bring warmth, cheer and sweetness to help brighten the Chanukah holiday for patients in the hospital. We wish them all a speedy recovery and a very happy Chanukah.

This chesed project was sponsored in the zechut of a refuah sheleima for Rachel Nechama Bat Masha Sara, a young mother. Please include her name in tefillot.
