The children in the threes and fours classes at the Lauren Elise Bier Nursery School participated in the Living Legacy Olive Press program, joined by the senior members of the “Together on Tuesday” program. Rabbi Rosenblum taught everyone how to make olive oil, and while the seniors enjoyed his sense of humor and answering his questions, they were happy to leave the olive pitting (squishing) to the children. Everyone was delighted to attend this extra special experience and looks forward to being together for more celebrations throughout the year.
