The Jewish Link of New Jersey and Gotham Burger would like to recognize ten year old Judah Greenberger as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. The YBH of Passaic fourth grader is coming off of an amazing TABC junior hockey season. Greenberger scored 33 of the Rangers 38 goals during the season. His postseason performance earned him the playoff MVP.
A parent of one of Judah’s teammates told The JLNJ, “ Judah is an amazing athlete, more impressive than all of the goals he scored for our team is his sportsmanship. He goes above and beyond to pass and include his teammates when possible.”

Why?
Because he’s my dad.
What is your favorite sport?
Hockey
What is your greatest sports accomplishment so far?
Winning MVP this season in TABC jr hockey.
Who is your favorite athlete and why?
Henrik Lundqvist. He is a hard worker and doesn’t quit.
What is your pregame routine?
I try to visualize game situations and certain plays.
What is your earliest sports memory?
Playing goalie in my driveway at four years old while my older brothers shot at me.
What is the funniest thing that happened to you while playing sports?
Celebrating a touchdown by spiking the ball before I actually entered the end zone.
What is the best thing about being a Sportstar?
It allows me to make sure that all the kids who want to play actually do.
