The second graders did a fantastic job at their Habitat Fair! Mrs. Cantor and Morah Erica worked with each student throughout the preparation process to ensure that every child was successful. They incorporated each subject into the fair. Students worked on reading non fiction texts, research skills, spelling, writing, science, growing their independent working skills and so much more. The fair was divided by habitat. They learned about the Arctic, the desert, the ocean and the rainforest. Each student researched an animal of choice. They organized their findings to create an informational trifold and beautiful diorama. They did a wonderful job presenting their work to parents and fellow students. This year, we added a scavenger hunt for students from other grades to enjoy when visiting the fair!
