Pre-k and kindergarten students enjoyed an interactive program about havdalah presented by Rabbi Moshe Grossbaum of Living Legacy. Students dipped candle strings in hot beeswax and wove together the thin-waxed strings to create a traditional havdalah candle. Rabbi Grossbaum discussed the customs of the havdalah ceremony, and each student received a full-color laminated card about the havdalah service to bring home.
