Students at Yeshivat He’Atid celebrated Tu B’Shevat in a meaningful way this past Friday. Grades one through five filed into the chadar ochel for a Seder Tu B’Shevat. Rav Daar began the seder with an engaging story about seeds, patience and personal growth. Students enjoyed each of the shivat haminim, but not before reciting a pasuk from Tanach and learning a lesson from each min.
He’Atid preschoolers also held their own seder. Morah Janice reviewed the shivat haminim and students provided examples of foods made from each min. It was a delicious and educational day for all.
