In Mrs. Yonina Ciner’s science class at Yeshivat Noam, first grade scientists learned about animal relationships and symbiosis, which means studying how living things interact with each other and sometimes need each other to survive. The students were shocked to discover that humans aren’t the only organisms that need friendship and care from other living things. They built models of different kinds of animals and learned their amazing stories of friendship, cooperation, protection and survival, through the animals’ relationships with completely different animals.
