The Dor L’Dor Group at Congregation Ahavath Torah will be running a day trip to Philipsburg Manor in Sleepy Hollow, New York on Thursday, June 20.
Dating back to the late 17th century, Philipsburg Manor House is a historic house in the Upper Mills section of a former sprawling colonial-era estate. It has a rich history but served mainly as an agricultural center. It was declared a national historic landmark in 1961.
Meet at the synagogue, 240 Broad Avenue, Englewood, at 10:45 a.m. Bring a bagged lunch that can be eaten in the picnic area upon arrival at Philipsburg Manor. Tour of the manor house and grounds is at 12:30 p.m..

Cost of entrance fee and bus transportation is $50 per person, which must be paid in advance.
