(Courtesy of Jewish Federation) Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey recently held its annual meeting, marking a significant milestone in a year filled with both achievements and challenges.
“We are thrilled to announce Daniel Herz as our new president and extend our heartfelt congratulations to him,” Federation stated. “We also want to express our deep gratitude to Dan Shlufman for his tireless and impactful work as president; his dedication has been instrumental to our progress.”
Federation congratulates its honorees: Alan Silberstein, recipient of the Marge Bornstein Outstanding Volunteerism Award; Elana Silber, recipient of the Howard E. Charish Award for Professional Excellence; and Kim Schwartzman, recipient of the Rhoda Award. The Rhoda Award is given to a staff member demonstrating the exceptional qualities of the late Rhoda Schiraldi, a beloved employee whose legacy continues to inspire us.
This year’s meeting highlighted the Federation’s resilience and commitment to its mission, showcasing the community’s unwavering support and solidarity throughout a challenging year.
