The pre-k class of the Lauren Elise Bier Nursery School released their butterflies. After weeks of journaling the changes in the metamorphosis cycle, they learned that each stage looks completely different and serves a different purpose in the life of the insect. The children celebrated with a butterfly release party, where they wore beautifully painted wings and antennas.
