(Courtesy of JFS MetroWest) Jewish Family Service of MetroWest hosted its annual meeting on Monday, June 17. The installation of officers took place, including honoring Andrea G. Bier as outgoing president and Steven J. Glass as incoming president.
The following individuals have been elected to assume leadership as trustees on the board: Steven J. Glass (West Orange), president; Shari Brandt (Short Hills), Pamela Davis (Short Hills), Michael Elchoness (Livingston) and Carrie Nussbaum (Short Hills) are vice presidents; Pamela Fishman (Short Hills), treasurer; Rachel Goodman Wilf (Short Hills), secretary; Amy Black (Short Hills), presidential appointment; Andrea G. Bier (West Orange), immediate past president; Nancy Eskow (Livingston), Marion Medow (Livingston) and Melanie Levitan (Morristown) are past presidential appointments.
Elizabeth Bier (Caldwell) was nominated for an initial two year term ending June 2026.
Shari Brandt (Short Hills), Emily Neider (Short Hills) and Stephen Weinstein (North Caldwell) were nominated for a first three year term ending June 2027.
Amy Black (Short Hills), Seth Cohen (Livingston), Pamela Davis (Short Hills), Michael Elchoness (Livingston), A. Gary Katz (Caldwell) and Sandi Z. Rosenbaum (Short Hills) were nominated for a second three year term ending June 2028.
The following trustees are continuing in their terms on the board: Pam Fishman, Steven J. Glass, Eta Levenson, Michael Levinson, Lisa Lindauer, Jed Marcus, Carrie Nussbaum, Lawrence Rein, Mark Roffman, Rita Yohalem and Judith Zaks.
The following board members are retiring from or rotating off the board: Alan Cohen, Fred Cohen, Linda Jacobs, Peter Sayre, Jeffrey Shapiro and David Sorkin. JFS MetroWest thanks them for their service.
