Al Haderech Max is a camp that’s perfect for a camper who needs a new adventure every day. Our first trip of many this past week was bowling. Even though I did not win, I had a blast. We then went on a trip even more thrilling: We made our way to Stumpy’s Hatchet House in PA! Stumpy’s is an ax-throwing arena. The staff made sure we were all safe, as did our amazing counselors. I was not very good at ax-throwing, it turns out, but if I practice more, I can totally see myself being good at it. After about two hours of fun, we headed to our hotel. After a delicious dinner (hot dogs and salad), we got ready for some night swimming. It was so much fun!

We woke up early the next morning to prepare for the sweetest place on earth, HersheyPark! We went on rides, played games and went to many stores. After many hours of fun, we found a grassy spot to eat a terrific dinner of deli and salad. Lastly, we hopped on the bus where we watched “Encanto” and had a party.

I’d like to give a big thank you to Malkie Merril, Elisheva Finkelstein and so many others for giving me an amazing first week! I can’t wait to pack my bags for week two.
