Chabad of Hackensack will proudly present a night of reflection, celebration and powerful storytelling as they commemorate the 30th yahrzeit of the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, of righteous memory. The community is invited to the commemoration for an extraordinary event that will highlight the Rebbe’s transformative impact on individuals and communities around the world.
The commemoration will be held on Monday, July 8 at Chabad of Hackensack, 280 Summit Ave., Hackensack. Door will open at 7 p.m. and the program will begin at 7:30. The evening of elegance and enlightenment will include an exquisite dessert buffet, uplifting music by the talented Yisroel Prus and a lineup of captivating speakers.
Dr. David Luchins will deliver the keynote address, “The Rebbe’s Impact: From Global Politics to Hungry Children in Harlem,” during which he will illuminate the Rebbe’s profound influence across diverse arenas. Sen. Cory Booker will share an exclusive video message, “Why I Study the Rebbe’s Teachings Every Week,” a personal and heartfelt message revealing the timeless relevance of the Rebbe’s wisdom.
Guests will also experience a thrilling personal story by Dr. Ken Prager in “My Undercover Mission to the Former Soviet Union on Behalf of the Rebbe,” a riveting account of courage, dedication and secret operations, while Miriam Feman recounts her miraculous escape and the Rebbe’s lifesaving intervention in “The Rebbe Rescued Me (and 3,000 Other Kids) from Iran.” There will also be an exclusive video presentation about the Rebbe, often dubbed as the most influential rabbi in modern history, showcasing his visionary leadership and enduring legacy.
