(Courtesy of CWO) The Annual Chabad of West Orange (CWO) dinner was a remarkable celebration of Jewish strength and pride, filled with energy, joy, enthusiasm, comraderie and love. All were inspired by young Ayden Sigler’s heartfelt welcome and his joy in being part of Chabad.
Rabbi Kasowitz, Chabad’s director, announced an exciting project to acquire a new larger space for children and teens and a kitchen expansion. He said in his remarks, “It’s important to celebrate Judaism with joy, especially during these challenging times.”
CWO honored Abie Meghnagi as “Man of the Year;” Ziv and Shoshana David with the Chesed Award, for their dedication and commitment to the CWO community; and Dr. Steve Reich, who shared his moving experience as a spinal surgeon helping wounded IDF soldiers in Israel.
CWO thanks all those who attended and/or participated in the annual dinner fundraiser.
