Ben Porat Yosef second grade students are learning to ask and answer essential questions about the earth’s land mass by studying land erosion experientially. They changed land by “wind” and water and tested the effect of rain on land in a second investigation to confirm their findings. Their goal is to learn the names of landforms that were created, find examples of erosion outside their own school building and to engineer creative strategies to reduce the impact of erosion on land.
