Color War is a highlight for all campers in all camps every summer. This summer Camp Shalom paid tribute to the Israeli soldiers out on the front lines protecting our homeland. The girls teams were Red, Tzanachanim vs. Purple, Givati. The boys teams were blue, Shayetet vs. Green, Sayeret Hayam. For three days, the campers and counselors competed in sports activities, swim relay races, bracha bees and more. The campers and counselors sang, painted banners and really paid tribute to those fighting in Eretz Yisrael. In the end, the red and blue teams triumphed—but the achdus and ruach were the true winners!
