Camp Aliya campers had a great time learning all about different artists, during Artists Week, and animals during Zoologists Week! The children made abstract artwork to resemble the paintings by Piet Mondrian, learned about mixing colors and created unique tie-dyed T-shirts. The children then enjoyed a live animal show from The Nature Company and learned to make elephant toothpaste using water, yeast, hydrogen peroxide, soap and food coloring. Their foamy fountain creation was big enough to brush an elephant’s tusks!
