Rabbi Pesach Raymon Yeshiva’s girls’ Torah Bowl team returned to campus on March 23 as Western Division Champions after an exciting competition. Following an undefeated 14-0 season, the team now heads to the league championships after Pesach. The boys’ Torah Bowl team came in a commendable second place at the championship. The win reflects the hundreds of hours the students spent in their spare time to study the pesukim and Rashis of sefer Devarim, an ability fostered by RPRY’s educational model to provide students with the skills to be independent learners. The experience of mastering the sefer and enriching the understanding of Torah is the true prize; the Torah Bowl victory is the icing on the cake.
