Prof. Ira Jaskoll’s “Contemporary Problems: Jews in Sports” class is part of the FDU Yeshiva Program. Recently, the class attended the New York Yankees-Chicago White Sox game. They met Michael Fishman, assistant general manager of the Yankees, who is in charge of the Sports Analytics Department for the Yankees. Sports Analytics is the latest advancement in baseball and sports. Future speakers and field trips are planned for additional courses taught by Prof. Jaskoll.
