To honor all the kedoshim who made the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of Medinat Yisrael, TABC’s talmidim divided up Messechet Pesachim, with each talmid learning an amud in memory of one of the soldiers. The yeshiva joined in a global initiative of the leKedoshim project, an initiative of the residents of Yad Binyamin, a community in Israel, to complete all of Shas on Yom Hazikaron. Following the siyum made by Yaakov Wieder ‘18, the entire yeshiva stood in silence as the the siren blared for two minutes. Afterwards, a film of this year’s Yom Hazikaron ceremony in Kfar Etzion was shown. Rav Moshe Taragin, Ra’m in Yeshivat Har Etzion (Gush) provided the religious context for the moving event. May Am Yisrael know no more loss on behalf of artzeinu hakedosha.
