TCA fourth graders started the year off by focusing on building a strong sense of community in their classroom. They discussed the importance of respecting one another and worked on creating a “family” atmosphere where everyone feels valued and supported. To reinforce this idea, the students made fourth grade friendship bracelets. It was a fun and meaningful activity that allowed the students to connect with each other while also creating a tangible reminder of the bonds they are forming in class.
