A 9/11 commemoration that has more meaning than ever to Teaneck residents this year was held on Wednesday on the grounds of the township’s town hall. Attended by local officials, representatives from all first responder teams and about 50 residents, the ceremony was one of both remembrance and resilience. John McGilchrist, chair of Teaneck’s patriotic observance committee, quoted several times the spirit of America: “When we get together, there’s’ nothing we can’t do.”
