Pre-k students at Lubavitch on the Palisades were so excited to begin learning about the aleph bet. They opened the class surprise box and discovered the first letter of the aleph bet hiding inside! They learned how special each letter is and that Hashem used each letter to create this world. Children incorporated movement into the lesson when they stretched their bodies to try to make aleph, the very first letter: The children are also increasing their Hebrew vocabulary by learning words that begin with the letter of the week. They started creating their aleph bet train books by making an avateach, (watermelon) which begins with the letter aleph.
