Mrs. Menasha’s sixth grade science classes learned about the scientific method. The students learned about observation, asking questions, creating a hypothesis, prediction, testing and tweaking in order to make a conclusion. The students then used the scientific method to create three different paper airplanes while changing only one variable for each plane. The students flew the planes and measured how far each plane flew. Each student completed a data page that allowed them to create a bar graph showing their results.
