As eighth graders, the students at JKHA have the opportunity to continue to develop their leadership skills. They spent time at the opening of school growing their leadership community building skills. Led by team makers, students first engaged in team work challenges. Learning groups with faculty followed, focused on what it means to be a leader. During these sessions, the 8th graders discussed the importance of leadership and how they can serve as positive role models for their younger peers in middle school. The day of bonding and fun concluded with working together at an Escape the Room.
