Last Wednesday morning, September 11, SAR Academy commemorated September 11, 2001 as a school-community—students and faculty gathered “on the steps” while the greater community watched via livestream. The school came together to remember the lives lost and honor the brave heroes who risked and sacrificed their lives to protect us. SAR was joined by Officer Roberto Perez and Officer Reidy Acosta in reflection on the events of that day. Throughout the day faculty facilitated appropriate and meaningful lessons. We will never forget.
