Following a moving presentation last week by Orli Cole, the FIDF’s senior manager for School Engagement, middle school Ivrit classes have once again launched a letter writing initiative to the soldiers. The students have written cards of support and appreciation to the soldiers and well wishes for a Shana Tova: a year of good news, security, good health and, be’ezrat Hashem, peace. The student letters will be sent to various bases via the FIDF and will be distributed to the chayalim and chayalot. Soldiers greatly appreciate these expressions of love and support as students embrace them with their good wishes from across the ocean.
