BPY’s Gan Shemesh toddler class has been learning all about colors. After identifying, sorting and matching colors, the children explored what happens when they mix colors together. They discovered that if you mix two or more colors together they turn into a completely new color. They layered colors on the light table, mixed watercolors in sensory bottles and dripped liquid colors into each other using pipettes. Gan Shemesh friends chose primary colors and used their hands to mix them into new colors and make handprints. There are so many ways to play with colors and so much to discover!
