The BPY community of families and students enjoyed an educational and fun day on a field trip to Cropsey Community Farm in New City, New York, on Sunday, May 7. The day was planned by the school’s parent-teacher organization. The parents and children participated in a variety of fun activities, including a planting workshop, scavenger hunt competition and mint planting. They also learned about chicken and duckling care. BPY parent and farm educator, Sarah Bartges, gave an interesting planting workshop to help everyone get their “green thumbs” in shape. A good time was had by all.
